Midsummer solstice
Commonly referred to as the Scandinavian tradition of celebrating the summers long awaited return, on its brightest day help with dressing and raising the midsummer pole. And then dancing round it. At the campsite we started doing it at the site from this year and it’s going to be every year, with Swedish Fika and dancing to Swedish folk music.
Christmas and New Years.
This celebration goes without explanation. But at the campsite we want to add the little extra part to the usual tradition. We try gather all the guests to feast and celebrate together. To give a taste of the Swedish ways in the cold of winter. At New Years we gather to shoot fireworks and maybe have the chance to experience the natural fireworks Aurora Borealis.
